Did you know that Grace Mennonite Church is part of SMC's history?  Grace Mennonite began services in 1959 with members from the Steinbach Mennonite, Bergthaler Mennonite and Evangelical Mennonite Brethren churches.  Anna Ens wrote, "Some congregations had grievances with members - for using TV, not demonstrating enough evidence of renewal, not being willing to be disciplined - who left to form Grace."  Praise the Lord that bridges were built and relationships restored!

Greetings Steinbach Mennonite Church,

Mennonite Church Canada Witness workers, Bock Ki Kim and Sook Kyoung Park, share about their work with Mennonite Church South Korea and their upcoming assembly in this week’s edition of Your Church at Work:

CMU continues to be gifted with a growing number of students from Hutterite communities – reflecting a friendship born of various connections over the past 2 decades. Aside from numerous individual students pursuing degrees, this past semester 25 Hutterites took an introductory Bible course for the first time, with Professor Dan Epp-Tiessen.  CMU has been blessed by these relationships as together we learn from one another about the type of communities God calls us to.  To read about this and other stories, go to
