WELCOME TO OUR EASTER SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE

April 1, 2018 – 10:45 a.m.

Focus Statement: Like Mary, we are so used to having something in between me (God) and you (us) that when the stone is rolled away, our expectations keep us from seeing the risen Christ. But in Jesus resurrection we see the fulfillment of Gods covenant with us and with all generations. It is here, on Easter morning, that we are invited to recognize the fullness of Gods plan and to step into that plan for ourselves.

CHURCH FAMILY INFORMATION

Bulletin Announcements regarding life events (e.g. deaths, births, celebrations) should be sent to the church office (info@steinbachmennonite.ca or 204-326-9773) by Thursday evenings.

Hans & Daniela Hildebrandt will be out of the office until April 17th. Please contact Pastor Lee during this time.

An updated version of our SMC Telephone Directory is in the foyer. Please check and initial your contact information as this is the last Sunday to make changes. If you’d like to update your picture, please email, daniela@steinbachmennonite.ca or drop off a picture to be scanned. Otherwise last year’s pictures will be used.

Beginning this Sunday we will be changing the start time of our Sunday morning services. Rather than the normal start time of 10:45 a.m. we have decided to switch to 10:46 a.m. We are calling this the "One More Minute Initiative" and hope that it gives our young pastor those extra couple of seconds to get into church on time.

We are very excited to announce the first SMC Church Retreat at Camp  Assiniboia. This retreat is planned for Fri. – Sat., Oct. 12 & 13, 2018. We will be offering travel options for Friday and Saturday, as well as the option of staying at the camp overnight. Please sign up at the Welcome Center. Looking forward to getting to know you better in this wonderful setting.
