In Memorium: We remember Jacob Adrian who passed away a year ago on July 4th. Pray for God’s comfort and peace to the family and friends these days.

God’s blessing on Frank Sawatzky who will celebrate his birthday on July 4th.

Administration Committee/Pastoral Committee would like to announce that Charlene Kroeker-Turner has accepted the administration position.  We want to welcome her to this position.  We are adjusting this position to 1/2 time.  We will confirm office hours in the near future.  Please support Charlene in her new role.

During the summer months July and August, there will be no Sunday School. Worship services will continue to start at 10:45 a.m., followed by a finger food potluck lunch. Please sign up at Welcome Centre for the Sunday you can help.

Volunteers still needed at Camps with Meaning! We are still in need of kitchen and maintenance volunteers at both camps, as well as camp pastors. Please call 895-CAMP or email if you can help out.

The MANITOBA FOOD HISTORY TRUCK will be in Steinbach (at the Mennonite Heritage Village) from 17 June through 7 July. You are invited to schedule a visit to the Food History Truck -- to cook a recipe that is memorable for you, while sharing your life story. Steinbach MCC Thrift Shop is in need of volunteers during our busy summer months. If you are interested in partnering with us by volunteering, please drop by our store at 409 Main Street Steinbach to fill in an application form or contact our store at 204-326-6642. July 28, 8:00 – 5:00 p.m. Prayer and Life Workshops Retreat, titled “TRANSFIGURATION” at Christ Our Saviour Parish. The cost is $15, (cash only please) and includes a book and lunch. September 29th, Save the date is the 2018 Ride for Refuge event. Mennonite Church Canada is once again inviting its congregational family to participate in this fun, nationwide bike-a-thon/walk in support of our international Witness ministry. As the Ride for Refuge website indicates: “The Ride for Refuge is a family-friendly cycling and walking fundraiser that supports charities who provide refuge and hope for displaced, vulnerable and exploited people everywhere.”  Please visit the Ride website:
