The Parable of the Unfruitful Fig Tree

Date July 22, 2018 – 10:45 a.m.

Focus Statement:  A fruitless fig tree in a vineyard is pretty much useless. It isn’t that the tree is dead or incapable of producing. It’s just there taking up space. Like some people.... alive and breathing but not really being fruitful.  How are we to acknowledge the fruitlessness, yet walk along side and invite in?

Welcome and Lamp lighting

We light a light in the name of the God who creates life, the Son who loves life, and the Spirit who is the fire of life. Thanks be to God who unites us in our hope, faith and life.
