Theme: the Parable of the Two Sons

July 29th, 2018 – 10:45 a.m.

Focus Statement: Jesus’ parables have a way of confronting us while also providing us with the encouragement to persevere.  In the Parable of the Two Sons, Jesus confronts us with nothing less than the capacity of our own hearts to reject God.  But even in the midst of this rejection Jesus gives us a blueprint that leads to renewed relationships.
