WELCOME TO OUR WORSHIP SERVICE

Epiphany Sunday

Jan. 6, 2019 10:45 a.m.

Focus Statement: On Epiphany Sunday we bask in the glow of Christ, the light of the world, who brings together the fragmented parts of our world. This week we remember that Jesus’ presence in the world, God-with-us, is constantly surrounded by treachery but that God prevails. Today we give glory to God, the One who gave us the Son, who journeys with us as we seek out the ways of righteousness.

THINKING AHEAD

Next Week’s Scriptures:  Deuteronomy 6:4-9 and John 13:34-35; John 15:9-17

Think on it:  What is the essential centre of Christian faith? Is it peace? Is it love? Is it faith? (Faith in what?) What is it anyway?
